There are beautiful waterfalls in Bali that deserve your visit. Some are easy to reach, others are more challenging. Most waterfalls are in the mountains in North Bali.
The Aling aling waterfall is located in Sambangan village. It is approx. a 1,5 hours trip from villa Semadhi. The fresh crystal clear water from the mountain and the surrounding green sceneries will make you feel close to nature. If you dare, you can go sliding and jumping (a 5, 12 and a 16 meter jump) in the natural pool of the waterfall. It’s fun, challenging and refreshing.
The most beautiful waterfall in Bali, the Sekumpul waterfall is located in Sekumpul village. It is almost a 2 hour trip from the villa. This is considered to be the tallest waterfall in the area with a 100 meter fall. You have to walk quite a few steps down and up but the views are spectacular. You will find many fruit trees along the way. You also have to wade through some water to reach the falls and you can swim around the base of the fall. There are 7 waterfalls and several tracks in the area from 2 to 5 hours. This waterfall is a paradise for trekkers and adventure seekers also great for photos. Visit this dazzling waterfall and enjoy the astounding natural beauty.
Git Git Waterfall
This is the most famous waterfall in Bali. The Gitgit Waterfall is on the edge of the Highway Denpasar – Bedugul – Singaraja .The Waterfall is 300 meters above sea level and often visited by tourists, it can get very busy.
There are two waterfalls in Munduk. The first waterfall is located about 1 km from Restaurant Ngiring Ngawedang. It is a 15-meter high waterfall located close to the coffee plantation. From the parking lot, you have to walk 250 meters to reach this waterfall and there is a small entrance fee. It is a beautiful path you walk down between coffee plantations to arrive in front of the waterfall.
The second waterfall is named Toss Waterfall and is higher up than the Munduk Waterfall. From the Munduk Waterfall you drive about 1 km to the north (Seririt) until you arrive at a corner with a direction sign to the waterfall.
Sing-Sing (daybreak) Waterfall
Sing-Sing is a great waterfall to visit. A streamside path leads the way to the falls themselves. There are 2 waterfalls here, the first 200 meters along the path. The waterfall might look small, but it is a beautiful sight. The water tumbles down into a small pool that flows pass the rocks into a small river covered by green vegetation. nYou can swim in the lower pool, and the upper pool, called Sing-Sing Dua, which has a deep swimming area, perfect for a cooling freshwater dip.
